Quite even matchup of 2 former champions but 1st thing is that Ferrero won the last 3 encounters on clay in their H2H (including French open a while ago) and 2nd thing is that odds are higher than evens for Ferrero so classic value bet here for the spaniard who I think has bit more than 50% chance here.

Gaudio isfür mich uneinschätzbar.Ich weiß ned was der hat.Vor kurzem stand er ja ganz hoch gegen Simon und hats auch prompt geloost.Des war ned die einzige unerwartete Niederlage in diesem Jahr auf Sand.Ferrero aber auch ned ganz der Held.Small probieren kann mas,da haben Herbal und ich recht.

Angeblich sollte Gaudio (laut Eurosportkommentator) gestern beim Double aufgegeben haben und gesagt, dass er sich nicht wohl fühlt und kein Bock hat mehr zu spielen. Keine Ahnung, ob da wwas ist ...... steigt das Value auf jeden Fall nocht bischen

vor allem da Ladbrokes die "one ball served" Regel hat, wenn Gaudio also irgendwann w.o. gibt is der Gewinn trotzdem da !

red ned so goschert, was is mitn Ferrero ? Ausserdem war der Almagro heut zu 3.3 vor Matchbeginn scho locker verkaufbar nach der gestrigen 1:0 Satzführung also quatsch mi ned von der Seitn an da !

habs zwar jetzt net genau nachgerechnet, weil ich mich auf die WM konzentriert habe, aber ohne das ich Herby`s Wetten in den letzten Runden verfolgt habe, nehme ich mal an, dass Herby klar gewonnen hat, denn die F.O. waren für mich gar nicht gut. Irgendwie hab ich es net mit diesem Grand Slam Turnier.

Wird Zeit, dass mit Wimbledon mal ein vernünftiges G.S.-Turnier anfängt, wo man auch was gewinnen kann.

Genau Endlich Grassaison aber heut ned viel gscheites dabei, 1 Wette hab ich aber:

HENMAN 1.62 - Agassi PIN 250 EH

Agassi has played his last grass tournament 2 years ago where he lost in round 1 against Andreev. Henman on a downtrend as well but at least he won some matches on grass in last 2 years and I think he should beat the old American

here today.

A good grass player Berdych meets an absolute newcomer on this surface with a well known name. He should easily beat him. Safin was injured and coming back slowly but should sure have enough skill to beat a Frenchman that never won on grass before.

BJÖRKMAN - Wang +
HAAS-Simon ) 1.96 CAN 300 EH

Björkman getting old, ok but he is a very good grass courter even last year with nice wins. Opponent Wang has nothing to show on this surface and odds far above 1.6 are clear wrong. Combo filler Haas on home ground in Halle where he always reaches semis or final should have no problems against newcomer Simon Gilles.

GOLDSTEIN 2.5 - Ginepri IW 200 EH

Long shot here but both with equal chances and results on grass so why Goldstein is that clear outsider here is beyond me

So los gehts am Montag mit dem grössten Turnier des Jahres !

Hier schon mal ein early pick für Runde 1 (achtung: erst wenige bookies mit quoten heraussen, but i took it early !)

LOPEZ - Ljubicic 2.88 PIN 250 EH

Lopez was in the quarters last year and also in round 3 last week at the grass tournament. Ljubicic cant play well on grass as statistics show so why on earth is he that big favorit here ? No way !

Those 4 are of course bankers as they all are 2 classes above their opponents, Robredo only 1 class but he has double odds

SERRA - Dlouhy ) EXP 1.64 450 EH

Adding to the 3 clearest bankers frechman Serra who has shown good grass play last week while Dlouhy has not won a single match in last 3 years on this surface.

HERNYCH - Berdych 3.35 EXP 200 EH

Very high odds for a pair that should be 50:50 with ability and as shown in grass statistics.

NOVAK - Vliegen 3.1 EXP 200 EH

Vliegen is a good grasss courter but not that much better than Novak who for instance gave Gasquet a tight match who won last weeks tournament.

SPADEA 2.75 - Verdasco LAD,SB 200 EH

We should not forget: Spadea is a man for faster surfaces and Verdasco is a clay player. So that high odds are not justified.

GASQUET - Fedex 12.75 PIN 50 EH

Tight loss last week in Halle. And its round 1. So why not ? That high odds are worth a small stake.
