With Puerta its a kind of up and down. He was 1 of the leading clay courters 2-3 years ago, had a severe injury and since then never came back that strong. Still last year won some challengers and among them he trashed todays opponent 2&1. This year the 2 have equal form and odds over 1.6 can be tried.
I double it with Ferrer. He has some nice results this year and sure is in better form than Martin, a decent clay courter 2 but with worse results over the last year. Double pays nice odds.
SPADEA - Dupuis +
J.JOHANSSON - Ferrero ) 1.81 LAD 350 EH
Dupuis a shadow of the past, losing almost every match on hard last year. Spadea a good hard court player on home soil should win this easily.
Double it with the rising swede Joachim Johansson who is in astonishing form this year winning a hard tourny and went into the quarters of Australia losing a match to remember against Agassi.
Ferrero never came back well after his injury, some 1st round losses on hard and Jojo should have the edge here.
