    NBA Dienstag/Mittwoch Nacht 21-02-06

    Orlando Magic @ Cleveland Cavaliers Over 187 (Expekt)

    Für mich ist die Line von 187 zu hoch, Lebron alleine immer für 30+ Punkte gut, zu Hause sowieso. Zwar nervt mich dieses Egogezocke, aber immerhin sorgt er halt für Punkte. Die Magic haben in Miami mit 93 und zu Hause gegen die Heat mit 100 Punkten bewiesen, dass sie offensiv schon was machen können. Könnte zwar eng werden, aber bin guter Dinge, dass die Line geknackt wird.

    Toronto Raptors @ Memphis Grizzlies Under 186.5 (Expekt)

    Egal wie der Gegner heißt, sei es Denver, Seattle oder halt Toronto, Memphisheimspiele schon sehr Underlastig, haben die beste Defense der Liga, wenn ich bei dem Spiel oben von einem knappen Over ausgehe, dann dürfte das hier doch schon Under ausgehen.

    Under is 5-0 in TOR last five road games.
    Under is 14-5 in MEM last 19 home games.
    Under is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings.

    Pick: Indiana -5,5 @ 2,05 BF

    Indiana (26-23, 17-8 home) , NO/Oklahoma City (29-23, 10-15 away)

    The Hornets have done a remarkable job to this point, all things considered. Chris Paul has been an excellent catalyst for a team that no one expected to be competitive after a dismal performance last year and then being displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Going into the All Star break, New Orleans had won a season high, five straight games and I don’t mean just this season. The last time this team won five straight was to close our the 2002 – 2003 season so they went exactly 2 ½ years without accomplishing that again.
    Their problem tonight is that the Hornets have to start the second half of this season at Indy and the Pacers have been on a bit of a hot streak themselves since they traded Artest for Stojakovic who is averaging 19.0 points in his seven starts with Indiana. Even without Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley, the Pacers have held opponents to an average of 83 points and 37 percent shooting in their last six games. They have outscored those teams by an average score of 97-83 and outrebounded them by an average of 52-41, winning five out of six.
    I have to give credit to the Hornets for what they have accomplished so far this season but I really think they have been playing over their heads. Bear in mind that the streak they are on has been against teams like Seattle, New York, Minnesota, Washington and Portland and only the game against the Timberwolves was away from “home”. The Pacer’s recent success has also come on their home court where they are 17-8 this year but during this current home stand they have beaten the Lakers, Pistons and Bucks as well as take the Spurs down to the wire. I think I’ll lay the points against a Hornets’ team that is overdue to be brought down to earth.
